yes the pay is decent and the work itself isn't that hard. not to mention the flexibility plus the job security...where else can you go in after an unannounced 2 week leave of absence to be greeted with words of concern and a raise? (*note: this was years ago, i have since matured and don't "take advantage" anymore ;P) May will mark 8 years of working for them. 8! nearly a third of my life!! what a disgusting thought. the challenges have long gone and i feel i'm missing out on job experiences by being stuck here. when the time comes, a lot of creativity will be needed to spice up my dull resume. logic tells me i should suck it up until school is done, but other parts of me protest...lately it's been my nose.

prior to 2005, JK (the boss) would stink up the store with morning breath. it was all i could do to hold my breath until he ate something. since the beginning of this year he's been giving off a fecal smell. no, it's not fart or BO...just soiled baby diaper that's been sitting too long. we tried but couldn't come up with a satisfactory reason for why this was. is he forgetting to wipe? to change his underwear? what?? how is this possible? this past month, he's added a new scent to his repertoire that we can't pinpoint. it's floral and strong enough to give us headaches. lily thinks it's old perfume. the rest of us think he soaks in bathroom air freshener instead of bathing. in either case, enough is enough. you're a pharmacist dammit! improve your hygiene!
