i spent sunday chillin' with Dave, whom i haven't seen since highschool...more accurately, whom i haven't really talked to since grade nine keyboarding class. i guess we were trying to make up for years of lost friendship cuz we sure did a lot in one day:
BMX track - he assured me i'd be #1 in ontario (by default) if i chose to race, but i'm more interested in doing tricks on the ground than speeding around the track. however, considering i don't own a bike and haven't rode one in over 10 years, maybe i'd better stick to the bleachers with the other wannabes
Pita Nutsy - mmm...chicken schwarma. who knew such good eats could be found in streetsville? i've already been back there with Deadstar who agreed it was delicious despite the bbq "hot" sauce
Driving Range - i've been bugging Nash to take me for months, but in the end Dave would have been a better coach anyway. i managed to get several decent shots out with his driver and 7 iron. fun, but i won't be taking up the sport anytime soon
walked the dog - his long haired chiwawa was such a spazz! and like Tanner's cat, tux, he also tried to kiss my lips. wtf?? is this typical animal behaviour?
10-pin bowling - i bowled an average of about 110 per game. gonna give 5-pin a go next time, cuz even a 9lb ball was too heavy for me
movie - "Grizzly Man" made me rofl, particularly the scene with the dead fox. Timothy Treadwell was an interesting character
sushi - it wasn't terrible, but it definitely didn't make me dance in my seat the way sushi OUGHT to
it was a good day. i hope the reunion with the fairwind peeps turns out to be just as enjoyable. some of those guys i haven't seen in 12 years!
