it's been awhile...[take 2]

a quick update before bed? why not?

1. i went from not seeing a doctor in 5 years or so to seeing one on a biweekly basis. what was my problem?
- unaccountable night rashes
- UTI
- allergic reaction to the antibiotics
- eye infection (which forced me to give a presentation with one eye shut...arrr avast, me hearty)
- sore throat, cough, and a raspy voice (not the sexy phone kind either)

2. i suffered slight panic attacks about where i am in life. what am i doing? where am i going? what's the point of all this? *gasp...deep breath* i paid zorya a visit and although i love seeing her family, it sometimes leaves me questioning my own "progress" and dreaming about the future.

3. nostalgia hit pretty hard. the good times, the bad times - overall it's left me feeling dazed and numb. i guess this kinda ties in with the panic attacks/quarter-life crisis.

4. i finally went skating!! it was a bit hasty of me to have sharpened them back in november after the first cold wave hit, but at least it wasn't for nothing. if all goes well, i'll hit the ice a couple more times before spring.

meh...that's all for today. i'm still kinda sick and there's a cosy bed waiting to nurse me back to health. i wish mom would still pamper and take care of me like back in the day. lymegreen said, "that's the boy's job now." pfft...then i wish the boy would get a name so he can bring me soup :)
